The Healing Eras Library is a growing collection of  workshops, practical tools, and reflective resources built specifically for adult children of emotionally immature parents.

It isn’t a course with a finish line. It isn’t a program that asks you to track your progress or show up on someone else’s timeline. It’s a space you return to when something gets stirred up, when you need language for what just happened, when you want to think something through before you respond, or when you just need to feel less alone in what you’re navigating.

Reflective Consultation is a one-time guided reflective conversation. It isn’t therapy, and it isn’t coaching. The session is focused on reflection, pattern recognition, and helping you see your situation more clearly so you can make your own decisions. A single focused conversations can sometimes replace months of circling. 

Both options are educational—not therapy—and focused on helping you practice emotional clarity and boundary work in your day-to-day life.  

It helps you understand how your childhood may have shaped your boundaries (in the context of having emotionally immature parents) and gives you a personalized result with insights and tools to try. Results are delivered immediately to your inbox and you’ll also receive a follow-up email series with more free tools to use in your every day life. 

Yes- people may use The Healing Eras alongside their personal therapy as a way to deepen reflection, build skills, and feel less alone in their journey.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker, and have practiced as a therapist for more than 15 years, but The Healing Era's offerings and products are not therapy. It’s a trauma-informed educational space grounded in lived experience, neuroscience, and boundary clarity. 

As a licensed mental health professional, I deeply value the role of therapy in healing. But not everyone is looking for clinical treatment.

Workshops and consultation allow me to share tools, strategies, and support in a way that’s educational, accessible, and action-oriented—without requiring a diagnosis or entering a therapist–client relationship.

Therapy focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions.

Reflective consultation isn’t therapy, and it isn’t coaching. There’s no treatment, skills training, accountability, or ongoing support. The session is focused on reflection, pattern recognition, and helping you see your situation more clearly so you can make your own decisions.

Instead, the reflective consultation focuses on helping you understand what’s shaping your indecision or uncertainty in the first place.

Clarity here often comes from slowing the conversation down enough to notice patterns, assumptions, and emotional or relational dynamics that are easy to miss when you’re inside the situation. For many people, that process reduces internal friction and makes it easier to trust their own thinking.

A healing space for cycle-breakers, especially adult children of emotionally immature parents, designed to help you unlearn guilt, reclaim your identity, and set boundaries without abandoning yourself.

Clinical intervention and therapy include a therapist-client relationship agreed upon in an informed consent process and involves clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of behavioral health disorders.
