THE HEALING ERAS™ 

Reflective Consultation — Terms of Service

By purchasing a Reflective Consultation from The Healing Eras™, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms in their entirety. Please read this agreement carefully before completing your purchase.

 

1. Eligibility: 18 Years and Older

Services are available only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By completing your purchase, you represent and warrant that: 

•  You are at least 18 years of age
•  All information you provide is accurate and truthful

Misrepresentation of age or identity will result in immediate termination of services without refund.

 

2. Nature of Services — Non-Clinical Relationship

Reflective Consultation with The Healing Eras™ is a non-clinical, educational, and self-reflective service. Sessions are designed to support: 

•  Emotional clarity and self-awareness
•  Boundary identification and communication strategies
•  Nervous system awareness
•  Self-leadership and internal authority development

Consultation is NOT a substitute for any of the following, and is not represented as such:

•  Therapy or psychotherapy
•  Mental health treatment or diagnosis
•  Crisis intervention or emergency support
•  Medical or clinical care of any kind

A consultation relationship is not a therapeutic, medical, or professional healthcare relationship. No diagnosis will be made and no clinical treatment will be provided.

If you require therapy, psychiatric support, or are experiencing a crisis, you agree to seek a licensed mental health professional or contact emergency services (911 or 988 in the U.S.) immediately.

 

3. Confidentiality

Your privacy is taken seriously. The following confidentiality terms apply to your consultation: 

•  Session content shared by you will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law
•  Your personal information will not be sold, shared, or used for commercial purposes outside of service delivery
•  Sessions will not be recorded by The Healing Eras™ without your explicit prior consent

Because this is not a clinical or therapeutic relationship, confidentiality is not governed by HIPAA. However, reasonable and good-faith privacy practices apply.

Exceptions to Confidentiality 

Confidentiality may be broken in the following limited circumstances:

•  Credible threat of harm to yourself or others
•  Suspected abuse or situations requiring mandated reporting under applicable law
•  Court order or legal requirement

 

4. Behavioral Expectations and Right to Terminate

To maintain a safe and productive consultation environment, you agree to: 

•  Participate respectfully and in good faith
•  Refrain from harassment, abuse, intimidation, or disruptive behavior
•  Communicate honestly about your situation and intentions
•  Use consultation for personal self-development only — not to strategize harm toward or retaliation against others

The Healing Eras™ reserves the right to terminate the consultation relationship at any time, without refund, in the following circumstances:

•  Violation of behavioral expectations outlined above
•  Misrepresentation of age, identity, or intentions
•  Misuse of the consultation space for harmful or abusive purposes
•  Presenting in a crisis state that requires clinical or emergency intervention beyond the scope of consultation
•  Harassment or hostility directed toward the consultant or brand

If a session is terminated early or the relationship is ended, appropriate support resources will be provided where relevant.

 

5. Client Responsibilities and Limitations of Service

By entering into this agreement, you acknowledge the following: 

•  You are solely responsible for your own decisions, actions, and wellbeing
•  Consultation is reflective and educational in nature — guidance offered is not prescriptive and does not constitute professional advice
•  Specific outcomes are not guaranteed — results depend on your own effort, engagement, and implementation
•  The responses of family members, partners, or others in your life cannot be predicted or controlled through consultation
•  Consultation does not replace therapy, medical care, psychiatric support, or crisis intervention

You agree not to:

•  Misrepresent your situation, intentions, or identity
•  Record sessions without prior written permission
•  Redistribute session content, materials, or recordings without written authorization
•  Use consultation to gather information for the purpose of harm, defamation, or malicious use

 

6. Feedback and Dispute Resolution

The Healing Eras™ is committed to providing a high-quality experience. If you have concerns about your consultation, you are encouraged to share private feedback before pursuing any public statement or dispute.

You agree that before making any public statement about your experience, you will make a good-faith effort to communicate concerns directly and allow a reasonable opportunity for resolution. 

You agree not to make knowingly false, fabricated, or maliciously misleading statements — whether public or private — that misrepresent your experience with The Healing Eras™ or damage its reputation through deliberate inaccuracy. Honest, accurate reviews and feedback are always respected and welcomed. 

Nothing in this section is intended to prevent you from sharing your genuine, truthful experience in any forum. 

 

7. Payment, Refunds, and Rescheduling

Payment 

•  Payment is due in full at the time of booking
•  Your session is not reserved or confirmed until payment is completed

Refunds 

Due to the nature of time-based consultation services, the following refund policy applies:

•  Sessions cancelled by the client with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable and will be considered forfeited
•  No-shows are non-refundable and will be considered forfeited
•  If a session cannot proceed due to a technical failure or cancellation on the part of The Healing Eras™, the session will be rescheduled at no additional charge or a full refund will be issued at the client’s preference
•  Refund requests related to exceptional or unforeseen client circumstances may be considered at the sole discretion of The Healing Eras™

Rescheduling 

•  You may reschedule once with a minimum of 24 hours notice at no additional charge
•  Reschedule requests made with less than 24 hours notice will be treated as a cancellation and the session will be forfeited

 

8. Technology and Session Access

You are responsible for ensuring the following prior to your session: 

•  A stable internet connection
•  Functioning audio and video equipment
•  Access to the Zoom or platform link provided at booking
•  A private space appropriate for a personal conversation
•  Arriving on time at your scheduled session

Technical difficulties on the client’s end that prevent the session from proceeding may result in the session being forfeited. If you anticipate a technical issue, please contact hello@thehealingeras.com as early as possible prior to your session.

 

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Healing Eras™, its owner(s), contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from: 

•  Your participation in consultation
•  Your use or misuse of information shared during consultation
•  Your decisions, actions, communications, or boundary-setting with others
•  Any outcomes or consequences resulting from your participation in consultation

Consultation provides educational guidance and reflective support. You remain solely responsible for your own choices and their consequences.

 

10. Modifications to These Terms

The Healing Eras™ reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. When changes are made: 

•  The “Last Updated” date at the top of this document will be revised
•  Continued use of services following notice of updated terms constitutes acceptance of the revised agreement
•  Clients with active bookings at the time of any material change will be notified by email

 

11. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the applicable courts of the State of Wisconsin. 

 

12. Consent and Acceptance

By completing your purchase, you confirm that: 

•  You are 18 years of age or older
•  You have read and understand the non-clinical nature of consultation
•  You understand the distinction between consultation and therapy or clinical care
•  You will not misuse consultation for harmful purposes
•  You will seek clinical or emergency support if your situation requires it
•  You agree to all terms and policies in this agreement
•  You accept the payment, refund, and rescheduling policies as stated

Digital Signature 

By checking the required acknowledgment box at checkout, you confirm your agreement to these terms. Your acceptance is automatically recorded with the following information:

•  Full name and email address
•  IP address and timestamp
•  Offer purchased

This constitutes your valid digital signature under the U.S. ESIGN Act.
